  • myintDr Myint Win Bo is a practising engineer as well as educator and researcher in geotechnical engineering, Geoenvironmental engineering, engineering geology and hydrogeology. He has been practicing in the engineering, geology, science and environmental fields in four continents (Far East, Pacific, Europe & North America) around the world over the last 35 years. He was also a geotechnical designer for many award winning projects around the world. His skills and scientific contributions in the field of civil/geotechnical engineering have been recognized via publications in international journals and conferences. He has published four textbooks, two book chapters, 150 referred international journal papers and referred conference papers. His published works were cited more than 1000 times in the International referred journals and textbooks.

    Dr Bo has been in the senior management position for more than 15 years. He has served as Board of Directors, Secretary of the Board and chair of the division in both profit corporation and non-profit professional societies. Dr Bo has managed multi-billion dollars project around the world.

    Dr Bo holds many science and engineering degrees and professional titles from numerous professional societies. He is also contributing to the industry through national and international professional societies as a committee member. Dr Bo is an Editor of American Journal of Material, Journal of Environmental Geotechnics and Geotechnical Research Journal. He has also been giving special and keynote lectures in Tertiary Institutions, Professional Societies and International Conferences around the world. Dr. Bo has always been practicing in the industry while consistently in collaboration with academic institutions. He is supervising many doctoral students, as well as serving as adjunct professor for many universities.
